"Bourse" is the European way of saying "stock exchange"; by extension it has come to mean any non-American market for the trading of stocks and bonds:
"A flood of sell orders forced the Tokyo Stock Exchange — the world's second-largest bourse — to close about 20 minutes earlier than normal after investors were shaken by an investigation into possible securities violations at Web portal operator Livedoor."
