The Brihadeeswarar Temple at Tanjore was built by the Chola emperor Rajaraja I in the 11th century. It is one of the largest temples in India and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its architectural grandeur and intricate carvings.

The Brihadeeswarar Temple in Thanjavur, also known as the Big Temple, is one of the largest temples dedicated to Lord Shiva in Tamil Nadu. It is renowned for its massive size and architectural significance, with its main vimana (tower) standing at around 216 feet tall.
