There are three places in North America that are called Blenheim, including: Blenheim, New York; Blenheim, Ontario; as well as Blenheim; South Carolina.

Blenheim Palace- is I believe associated with the Duke of Wellington, whose real name was Wellesely. In World War II there were two different types of bomber named after him- the Wellington ( largely pre-fabbed and an unusual looking plane, and the Wellesely- two different planes. there was also a Blenheim bomber made by Bristol aeroplanes. It makes sense naming warplanes after famour generals.
