Aristotle fled Athens in 322 B.C. due to anti-Macedonian attitude following the death of Alexander. He died that same year and willed his works to Cassander the future king of Macedonia and also a former student of his. He also requested of Cassander that he be buried with his wife who had died years before in Euboea. Cassander honored his former teacher with no ceremony as requested. The location is lost to time.
