Biography
In films since 1932, Charles Cane seldom rose above the status of bit player, usually cast as patrolmen and desk sergeants. After a featured role as a teamster in Bob Hope's My Favorite Blonde (1942) Cane went off on a new career tangent, playing scores of truck drivers. Active until 1961, he was briefly billed as Charles R. Cane in the mid-1950s. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
