Chersonesos or Chersonesus is the Greek for "peninsula".

- Chersonesos Taurica an ancient city near Sevastopol, current archaeological site in the Crimea, Ukraine. The name Chersonesus Taurica was also extended to the entire Crimean Peninsula.
- Kherson, Ukraine, formerly called Chersonesos.
