The Boston and Maine did have the Flying Yankee but it was NOT named a "Zephyr". The Zephyr name belonged to the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy railroad's look-a-like trains, built by Budd Co. and EMD.

Burlington Northern Railroad was created in 1970.

Burlington Northern Railroad ended in 1996.

Burlington-Rock Island Railroad ended in 1964.
