Check area garden centers. I just picked a nice black chokeberry tree up for $10 at Lowes.
In the UK it must be rare, I have never heard of a chokeberry. Perhaps we know it by another name.
In the Midwest, they are more common. However, I don't belive that they are considered rare

the hackberry trees are purple and the chock cherries are red
A chokecherry is a cherry that is grown in North America. It is eaten raw, however it is much more desirous when eaten cooked.
