History:
The PY Hahn company only made one pistol and one rifle. shortly afterwards they were bought out by Crosman
air gun company. The Hahn 45 was made from 1958 to 1970. Crosman
marketed it as the Crosman
45 but never changed the molds, so the pistol still said PY Hahn on its side. Most of them leaked C02 and have to be rebuilt. The rifle was made from 1958 to 1971.
Repairs:
If you look at the Crosman home page, scroll down to the bottom and click on "Find a repair center" if you want to have your gun repaired.
Value:
If you want an estimate of value, you need to give it some sort of (condition) rating like: Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good or Excellent condition. You also need to state if it is still working and holds C02 without leaking.
Then I can give it an estimate of value.
Hello,
I also own a Hahn Super BB Repeater Rifle that I received as a birthday
present in 1963. It was well cared for and shows almost no marking and no
rust; wood and metal are both 99%. About twelve years ago, I disassembled
it and lubricated the valve and seals with Pellgun Oil. It worked fine, which
surprised me after being in storage so long. My son and I used it off and on
for the next five or six years until he outgrew it, at which time I lubed it again
and put it back in storage with my other guns. The screw at the rear of the
receiver that secures the stock was replaced long ago because the boss that
it threads into inside the receiver was stripped. That is the only part that is
not original. Not bad for a gun that is fifty years old ! I would really appre-
ciate an estimate of it's current value.
