n.

A fissure on the mesial surface of the cerebral hemisphere, bounding the upper surface of the cingulate gyrus, curving up to the superomedial margin of the hemisphere, and bordering the paracentral lobule posteriorly.

The cingulate sulcus is a sulcus (brain fold) on the medial wall of the cerebral cortex. The frontal and parietal lobes are separated by the cingulate sulcus from the cingulate gyrus.
