Yes! Palm Springs High School (California) has a Junior ROTC
program. The program was established in 1994. As of 2010 there were
over 100 cadets enrolled in the program.
The AIR FORCE Junior ROTC program at Palm Springs High School
(California) earned the Outstanding Unit Award in 2010 and the
Distinguished Unit Award with Merit in 2011. The Aerospace Science
Instructor (ASI) earned the Outstanding Instructor Award in 2011.
The Senior Aerospace Science Instructor (SASI) earned the
Outstanding Instructor Award with Merit in 2011. The Mayor and City
Council of Palm Springs declared May 18, 2011 to be Palm Springs
High School Air Force Junior ROTC Day in Palm Springs.
