Close-minded.

Christians solemnly believe that Jesus died for their sins. I am sure there are other people who are not Christians that are also close minded.

Not all Christians are close minded. Some merely hold strong to their beliefs of and about Christianity, but that doesn't equate being close minded.

Belief in an eternal soul, a purpose greater than mere survival, and the humility to accept that we are not the ultimate authority... That is hugely open-minded.

It's actually the opposite. Quiet type of guys are usually the easiest to get along with whether or not you are quiet yourself or not. Being quiet won't mistake you as not being open-minded. You can be quiet and still be open-minded. A lot of people are noisy and very close-minded. Actually, the louder you are the more close-minded you tend to be. If you are always shouting that your belief is correct, you will never be able to hear anyone else. So, just because you are quiet doesn't mean you are close-minded, but that doesn't rule out the possibility that you are close-minded and boring. They are not mutually exclusive.
