I think you mean "coddled" eggs - these are eggs which are cooked in individual containers in a waterbath,generallyon the hob rather than in the oven. You break the egg into the egg coddler (which is normally either ceramic or silicone), place the coddler into the waterbath and gently heat until the egg is cooked. So people like to add various flavourings to coddled eggs.
