Codman exercises

Sports Science and Medicine: Codman exercises

Flexibility exercises used to rehabilitate a painful shoulder with restricted mobility. For example, the patient bends forwards at the waist with the hand of the uninjured side resting on the knee and performs gentle circumduction movements with the right shoulder. This exercise allows gravity to distract the glenohumeral joint.
