The Index of Coincident Indicators is published monthly by the Conference Board along with the Index of Leading Indicators and the Index of Lagging Indicators to give the public a reading on whether the economy is expanding or contracting and at what pace. The components of the Index of Coincident Indicators are: non-farm payroll workers, personal income less transfer payments, industrial production, manufacturing, and trade sales.
