So a billion would take 5000 million minutes. There are 24 x 60 minutes in 1 day = 1440. So divide by 1440 to get days, = 3.472 million. Then there are 365 days in a year, so divide by 365, = 0.0095 million years = 9.5 thousand years. So don't try it!

People with diabetes can control their blood sugar better if they can count how many carbs they eat.
Types of CarbohydratesYour body turns carbs into energy. There are two major types: simple and complex.
Simple carbs are sugars found naturally in food. They can also be added to food. They include:
Complex carbs have sugars that are chemically linked together. Your body breaks them down into sugar after you eat them. They are starches found in food. They include:
Some foods, such as jelly beans, are all carbs. Others, such as meat and fish, have no carbs.
Most foods, even vegetables, have some carbs. Most adults with diabetes should eat no more than 200 grams per day. But each person should have their own carb goal.
Packaged foods have labels that tell you how many carbs a food has. They will be measured in grams. You can use food labels to count the carbs you should have.
The food label will say what the serving size is. It will also tell you how many grams of carbs are in a serving.
Sometimes the label will list sugar, starch, and fiber separately. The carb count for a food is the total of these. Multiply the number of servings you eat by the number of grams of carbs per serving. This will give you the carb count for what you eat.
You have to measure how many carbs are in foods that are not packaged. Then you have to calculate the total carbs in what you eat.
For example, cooked long grain rice has 15 grams of carbs per 1/3 cup. If you eat a cup of cooked long grain rice, you will eat 45 grams of carbohydrates.

It depends on whether the nodes are in a list, a binary tree, a heap, or some other structure. If the nodes are in an unsorted list, then the simplest solution would be to build a frequency table (requiring a single traversal of the list), and then list all the table elements that have a frequency greater than 1. If the list is sorted, then duplicate nodes will always be found side-by-side, thus you can quickly enumerate them without the need of a frequency table unless you wished to store the results for further analysis.

As the days counted down towards the birth of our first child, more doubts danced their way into my mind.
I had no point of reference.
My preparation consisted of checking off a list of “must haves” from Babys-R-Us down to the color of the Baby Bjorn.
I had just started feeling like a competent husband, but the title of father felt overwhelming.
That was 11 years ago and I still feel overwhelmed.
Yet, I sit here tonight tapping away at my computer waiting for number five to arrive, and I have no idea where the Baby Bjorn is. I’m certain that within a few minutes I can locate my keys, wallet and a suitable car seat if the contractions become more intense.
At this stage of the game my only job is to keep everyone calm.
I didn’t realize how much joy these four balls of energy would bring to our home. And challenge and squirm and test the quality of my hearing.
Two tired but thrilled parents welcomed our first child into this world. This time around the parents are still tired, but the other four are anything but.
I wonder if number five has any what he’s about to experience.
