Being a country boy, I would say one reason is because if you're
raised on it from childhood, you may enjoy other types of music
but, country music stays in your heart.
Other reason could be that country music has been around since
the founding of the United States. Another reason could be that
country songs are not as quickly forgotton as in other types of
music.
Also, kids tend to relate to the country music videos that
various artists release, and they relate to the messages of the
songs.
my whole family likes country music i was grew up with it and
forced to listen to it i am a rocker i hate country music it
sucks!!!!
Another reason would be that, A child doesn't really care what
they are listening to as long as it's not loud or has a very minor
like tone, so they can withstand listening to crap like country
music.
