Asian cuisine is a rather broad term, but these cuisines are generally from Southeast Asia. Thailand, China, Japan, Korea and Vietnam have all produced food with nearly worldwide prevalence.

There are many dishes in Korean cuisine and the traditional dishes are more-or-less the same between North and South Korea. Of course, since many North Koreans are starving, they are not eating haut-cuisine as such. Korean dishes include bulgogi, bibimbap, dak galbi, naengmyeon, lamiyun, mandu, japchae, kkori gomtang, numerous shellfish dishes, tteokbokki, kimchi jiggae, and numerous other dishes.
