The flow of air into a low pressure cell is called cyclonic.
Cyclonic circulation is counterclockwise in the Northern Hemisphere
and clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere. The flow of air into a
high pressure cell is called anti-cyclonic. Anticyclonic
circulation is clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere, and
counterclockwise in the Southern Hemisphere.
