There are so many names for Witchcraft and Witches in India. In Hindi, Magic is called "Jadhu". But that is stage magic. A wtch is also called "Chudhali", but that has so much negative stigma attached to that word than for the word Witch in modern Europe and USA. In Tibet, there are storirs about a mistical female creature full of energy and having the ability of casting spells called "Dakini". They are skyclad. Spell-Craft is called "Mantra Shastra" in Sanskrit. A Wizard could be said to be equivalent for a "Rishi" (Sanskrit) or "Yogi".
