province in France. There was also a hospital in St. Vincent de
Paul.

St. Vincent de Paul was French, cared for the poor, along with
Ste. Louise de Marillac founded the Daughters of Charity. His feast
is September 27. Many churches have a Society of St. Vincent de
Paul, which takes care of the poor.
