This term refers to the action of raising when a player check-raises an opponent.

SoundPoker Says: This is a Star Trek term used to describe the action of a star ship removing it's "cloaking shield", which renders the star ship invisible to enemies. The "cloaking shield" is usually removed just prior to attacking an opponent. Applied to the poker strategy of check-raising, the check can be described as a poker player's "cloaking shield" because a check does not appear to be an offensive action. A poker player becomes visible to their opponents when they Decloak and "attack" with a bet.
