Remove the screw on the panel below the front of the seat. Then open the seat and remove the two Phillips type screws near the seat hinge. Then remove the panel below the front of the seat and have a look. You can also take the storage container right out if you want to get in deeper.

You might either cut the bucket back in the seat , or buy a new seat that has a deeper bucket. Lapara or Mustang. You might also extend the foot pegs.

from what i understand the seat on a evening saddle is deeper than a jumping saddle and the back of a evening saddle is not as flat as a jumping saddle.
