Dhuhr namaz is the noon prayer that Muslims perfom. There are five prayers in a day, and Dhuhr is the noon prayer. Dhuhr refers to noon time (or a bit after noon), and namaz means prayer. The word Dhuhr and Salah are the same and both are used to mean prayer.

The most important part to be done in a mosque, in congregation. It is accompanied by a sermon (Khutbah), and it replaces the normal Dhuhr prayer.

Salahs (prayers) are:

- Fajr: Prayed at Dawn

- Dhuhr- Prayed at Noon

- Asr- Prayed in the Afternoon

-Maghrib- Prayed at Sunset

-Isha- Prayed at Nightfall

Actually, Muslims are obligated to pray at least 5 times a day (Fajr - sunrise, Dhuhr - Midday, Asr - Afternoon, Maghrib - Evening and Isha' - Night).
