Rubén Ruíz Ibárruri (January 9, 1920 - September 3, 1942) is the name of the Basque hero who halted Nazi invaders at Borisov in July 1941 and Samofalovka in September 1942. Rubén was the only son of Julián Ruiz Gabiña and Basque Country Republican leader Isidora Dolores Ibárruri Gómez (December 9, 1895 - November 12, 1989).
