Ed McTaggart (born July 10, 1951) is an America drummer and artist. McTaggart is best known as the drummer with the rock band Daniel Amos.
McTaggart joined DA in 1976, after years of playing with Bill Sprouse Jr.'s band The Road Home.
In the 1980s, McTaggart became the V.P. of Creative Services for Frontline Records, and went on to design the covers for hundreds of albums, CDs and tapes. After leaving Frontline, McTaggart started the McTaggart Design Group. Over the years, McTaggart has created covers and other artwork for albums by DA, Jon Gibson, Altar Boys, Veil of Ashes, Scaterd Few, Mad at the World, Tom Stipe, Grand Funk Railroad's Mark Farner, Stephen Crumbacher, Rick Elias, Lost Dogs, Lifesavers Underground, Terry Scott Taylor and many others.
Ed currently performs with Pete Jacob's classic rock band, Class of '69 and big band Wartime Radio Revue. Ed currently is employed by White Cap Construction Supply serving as a Production Manager in the Corporate Marketing Department and lives in Orange County, CA.
