(Enterprise Information Integration) Similar to an EIS (executive information system), an EII aggregates current information from all data sources within an organization.

EII, ETL and EAI

An EII differs from an ETL (extract, transform, load), which migrates information into a different structure and EAI (enterprise application integration, which integrates data from one application to another. See EIS, ETL and EAI.
