EJB container

A J2EE application server that provides the facilities for executing Enterprise JavaBeans (EJBs). Some EJB application servers may provide containers for JSPs and servlets, while others require a separate module. For example, the popular open source JBoss EJB container is often used in conjunction with Tomcat for servlet and JSP execution. See servlet container and Tomcat.
