Elevation (Drawing)

An orthographic (nonperspective) drawing of a property from the front, rear, or side that illustrates how the planned or existing structure is situated topographically.
Example: The elevation drawing was helpful in assuring adequate drainage of rainwater away from the home and ensuring that the view from the balcony to the golf course would not be obstructed by another structure on a different level.
