The holding company is the parent of AMR Inc., the largest private ambulance service in the US, and EmCare Holdings, a leading medical staffing firm that specializes in filling emergency rooms. EmCare holds more than 550 staffing and service contracts with hospitals and physician groups in 40 states. The company was taken private by Clayton Dubilier & Rice in 2011.
