You've asked, "can an entheogen (a religiously used hallucinogen) save the world by ending addictions." I'm going to have to say No. Here's why: # I don't have reason to believe that Salvia actually can end addictions. Treating serious physiological addictions with hallucinogens in the past has always failed. # Addiction is a multi-faceted disorder. A one-stop-shop panacea seems unlikely at best. # I am not convinced the world needs "saving", as I'm not at all sure what you mean -- saving from what? # I don't believe that addiction, while a widespread concern, is enough of a problem that it will end the world.
