Eochu

Eocho, Eochy
[Irish, horse-rider (?), fighter on horseback (?), horse of conquest (?)]

Diminutive of Eochaid; although the two forms are hopelessly confused in early manuscripts, some figures may be known only as Eochu, some only as Eochaid, and many as both.
