A granulomatous inflammatory disease of unknown etiology, usually monofocal in bone but sometimes affecting soft tissues. Sheets of histiocytes and masses of eosinophils characterize the lesion histologically
A lesion having numerous histiocytes that may contain Langerhans granules, eosinophils, and pockets of necrosis. It is usually a solitary bone lesion but may develop in the lung.
