The Equalizer is a game-hacking, cheat cartridge by Datel that was released for the Nintendo 64. It was the last version in the N64 Action Replay range and was designed to be sold at a lower price point, and some of the features from the Pro Action Replay version were removed such as the code generator, and the parallel interface port on the rear.
In the USA InterAct held the license for the Action Replay brand and renamed it the GameShark, as such the Equalizer was rebranded the GameShark Lite
The Equalizer is compatible with the Action Replay, and has a Replay built into it. When using both, the Equalizer is placed on the bottom, with the Action Replay above it. The player can use codes from both without having to switch between devices. The Equalizer is not compatible with the GameShark Pro, however it is likely that the USA equivalent the "GameShark Lite" is compatible.
Reception
Fuse Video Game said that Equalizer was "quite Simply the Best Value Cheat Cartridge on the market today."
