The Sierra del Escambray mountains is a range of mountains in Cuba which some of the population live near. The area is very beautiful with waterfalls and lots of bird life, you can even spend a few days trekking here on your cuba holidays. My friend Hector did this and had loads of fun. The Escambray Mountains are in the center of Cuba. The Sierra Maestra Mountains, El Yunque, Sierra de los Organos mountain range, Sierra del Rosario mountain range, Cordillera de Guaniguanico mountain range are also in Cuba.
