To school children in the Western world, Pythagoras is probably best known for Pythagoras theorem. However, apart from Eurocentrism, there is little to connect Pythagoras with the theorem since it was known to Mesopotemian, Chinese and Indian mathematicians for centuries before Pythagoras.

Some of the main problems associated with the Enlightenment were the perpetuation of Eurocentrism and the marginalization of non-Western societies, the exclusion of women and marginalized groups from participating fully in intellectual discourse, and the belief in the supremacy of reason leading to a dismissal of emotions and spirituality. Additionally, the Enlightenment's promotion of progress and rationality contributed to colonialism and imperialism.

India has been invaded by Greeks, Persians and British. Like Aryans, all these people are descended from a small group of women who lived in South India 50,000 years ago. The Aryan Invasion Theory or Aryan Migration Theory was invented by Max Mueller and based on eurocentrism and faulty observation. DNA research and archeological finds have completely discredited the Aryan invasion theory.
