A lot of seafood contains Omega-3 fatty acids, which are thought
to be beneficial in the body against cancer, heart disease,
rheumatoid arthritis and other diseases. Seafood does contain fat,
but it is a different kind of fat than that of red meat. Red meat
is an excellent source of protein and iron. Lean red meats have
less fat than poorer cuts. A balanced died should contain both lean
red meat and seafood.
