Fibronects help organize the extracellular matrix they are bound to the intragins which they then bind on the ECM (extracellular matrix) it binds collagen fibers and heprin and even GAGS.

Alike in the intracellular intragins connect to actin filliments, So fibronectin is used to hold collagen. fibronectin is also a dimer, the integrins move apart, exposing more binding sites for protein protein interaction.

Fibronectin are co-alligned with actin fillaments. drugs cytochalasin fibernectin on the outside will not assemble. You need actin to make fibronectin. No actin no fibronectin.
