Remove magazine, draw back slide, check that NO ammunition is in the gun. Release slide, release safety, with gun pointed in safe direction, pull trigger. Use a pen or pencil to push in the round tab on the rear of the slide. While holding it in, lift the back end of the slide, and move it forward off the barrel. The firing pin/striker and its spring can be removed from its channel in the slide. STOP. Do not disassemble any further.

REMOVE MAGAZINE! OPERATE SLIDE SEVERAL CYCLES! MAKE SURE CHAMBER IS EMPTY! I CAN'T EMPHASIZE ENOUGH HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO MAKE SURE NO SHELLS ARE WITHIN AN ARMS REACH OF PROXIMITY TO WEAPON. Push take down button, (part on back of slide with hole surrounding firing pin) in and slightly pull back and up on slide. Slide should lift right up and slide forward off of barrel. Spring and firing pin will come with it.

If you can't find an owner's manual, you will need to take it to a gunsmith.

First you need to remove the two long flat-head screws that hold the stock in place. Then remove the hex screw in front of the magazine well. This should allow you to separate the upper from the lower. Then remove the screw on top of the reciever that holds the rear sight in place; that screw and one of the screws for the stock both hold a block of metal in place that closes off the rear of the reciever. Once both of those are removed the reciever plate should come out. it might be wedged and need some extra work for removal. Be careful when removing the end of the reciever; it is under tension from the recoil spring, so when it comes loose it may fly out. The next step is to remove the bolt. Slide the bolt to the complete rear of the reciever, where you will be able to slide the charging handle completely out. Then the bolt will slide out. I hope this helps. This was the process for my Commando Mark III. It should be similiar to the commando mark 45. I think the only difference is the kind of magazines they take.
