It Couldn't Just Happen is a book that explains all about symbiosis in chapter 13. Since the flashlight fish lives below 375 feet, where there is no light, it needs a flashlight. Bacteria actually lets off a glow. So the flashlight fish keeps bacteria in a special pouch, and now it can turn its "flashlight" off and on whenever it wants to. On the other hand, Bacteria cannot survive outside of the flashlight fish's pouch. This is a perfect example of symbiosis, and it shows how magnificent, loving, and perfect our Creator, God, is.
