The four color printing process mixes cyan, magenta, yellow and black, also known as the key. Technically it would be done without black ink because cyan plus magenta plus yellow make black, but in order to save ink companies add a black ink cartridge. With those three (or four) colors, any possible color can be obtained with the right mixture.
