Fujisawa (fūjē'säwä), city (1990 pop. 350,330), Kanagawa prefecture, central Honshu, Japan, on Sagami Bay. It is an industrial and residential suburb of Tokyo, known for the production of automobiles, electric appliances, and iron goods. Fujisawa is also a resort town noted for its Shojokoji (Buddhist) temple.
