the gameboy advanced but u can play it also on the ds in the slot in the bottom of the console.....i think u can also download it from the internet

Gameboy was the first and has dominated ever sense. The original Gameboy had no color and was followed up by Gameboy Color. Then they had Gameboy advanced all the way up to the DS which displays the same graphics as the N64 console and better.

Pokemon Crystal can be played on the Gameboy Color, the Gameboy Advanced and the Gameboy Advanced SP. Pokemon Crystal cannot be played on the original Gameboy and Gameboy Pocket.
