Genesis 12 does not have verse number 36, it h as only verse 20.

The Horites are mentioned in the book of Genesis in the Old Testament. Specifically, they are mentioned in Genesis 14:6, where they are described as inhabitants of the land in the region of Seir, which later became known as Edom. Additionally, they are mentioned in Genesis 36:20-30, in the genealogies of the descendants of Esau.

Esau married Mahalath, the daughter of Ishmael and sister of Nebaioth, according to the Bible in Genesis 28:9.

He was also called Edom because he sold his birthright for 'red' stew. (Genesis 25:25, 26, 30).
