GMAC aims to be the MAC Daddy of global finance firms. With operations in about 30 countries, GMAC offers financing to General Motors (GM) and Chrysler dealerships and their customers. GMAC is also one of the largest mortgage issuers and servicers in the US through its Residential Capital (ResCap) subsidiary.
