Grove Park is an Atlantan neighborhood located west of Downtown. The neighborhood is encompassed in the 30318 zip code. Grove Park shares borders with Vine City neighborhood and the Cascade area. The neighborhood rests just inside Atlanta's perimeter highway I-285.The schools that serve the neighborhood are Grove Park Elementary, Carter G. Woodson Elementary School, Benjamin S. Carson Honors Preparatory School, and Douglass High School.

Grove Park is adjacent to the esteemed Atlanta University Center consortium (commonly referred to the AUC). The consortium includes: Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Spelman College, and Morehouse School of Medicine.

Proposed Development

Grove Park falls on the western edge of the proposed Beltline and is minutes from the City of Atlanta's planned Westside Park. [1] The Grove Park area has been dramatically affected by the nation's foreclosure crisis. However, real estate investors expect the proposed development plans to spur the neighborhood's revitalization.

Celebrity Ties

Grove Park is the original home of Andre 3000, and the Cleveland Browns Pro-Bowl halfback Jamal Lewis.
