Content is king at Harris Publications. The company publishes a variety of magazines including "King" (a men's magazine aimed at African-Americans, dubbed by some as the "black Maxim"), "XXL" (a hip-hop music magazine), and Rides (all about cars). Publications in its Harris Tactical Group are focused on weaponry, with titles such as Tactical Knives and Combat Handguns. In contrast to its testosterone-laden titles, Harris Publications also publishes craft magazine Quilt. The company sold its "Revolver" music magazine to special-interest magazine publisher Future US in 2006.

Harris Comics

In 1983, Harris acquired the assets of the defunct Warren Publishing, and in the early 1990s briefly revived, in comic-book form, the company's well-known horror magazines Creepy and Vampirella. The latter has continued into the 2000s in various formats, including as a magazine containing both comics stories and non-fiction articles. Harris' Anarchy Studio imprint publishes manga comics featuring the characters Vampi and Xin. In January 2007 Fangoria Comics [1] made the announcement that the character Vampirella was now owned by Fangoria however in April Harris replied that this was not factual. [2] Harris recently started to release "Vampirella Quarterly".
