(medicine) A bony growth produced by excessive musculoskeletal tension at the heel. Also known as calcaneal exostosis.

A growth of bony tissue that occurs at the attachment of the plantar fascia to the calcaneus (heel bone). It is often associated with plantar fasciitis.
