To "follow suit" is not a term used in regards to poker. In other card games it means to play a card with the same suit as the one last played.

Poker has 4-1 each suit, but they are in Pinochle decks too.

The Ace can be the lowest or the highest card. Depending on the game and the rules for that game, the ace can be used for a low straight in poker or rummy or a high straight. See the related link for more information.

An Ace is not always considered higher than a King in poker, it has dual value. An Ace can be either high or low, depending on the hand.
