Commercial cooks could be in Hell's Kitchen if it weren't for Hobart's products. The company makes a variety of commercial foodservice equipment including Baxter brand baking equipment (ovens and proofers); Traulsen brand refrigerator/freezer equipment and prep tables; and Advansys conveyor and door-type warewashing equipment, as well as waste equipment. A short list of Hobart products includes barcode scanners, fryers, griddles, rotisseries, food processors, meat saws and slicers, scales, and wrapping equipment. Its service unit provides installation, maintenance, and repair for all of its equipment. A subsidiary of Illinois Tool Works, Hobart also services the equipment of sister companies, including Vulcan.
